This 1865 Gothic Revival wallpaper was based on an original made by Samuel Scott for the English decorators J.G. Crace for the Houses of Parliament in London c.1850. Re-scaled for domestic use, and with crowns changed for leaves, this paper was installed in the 1865 Dining Room of Ross Bay Villa, a modest Gothic Revival style house saved and being restored by The Land Conservancy in Victoria, Canada.
